Christmas Jazz Volumes 1 & 2
A.K.A. Feed some musicians this Christmas!
Thanks to Covid, we’re having to diversify a bit this Christmas. Trying to keep ahead of the home music market we’ve written and arranged another volume of laid back jazzy influenced Christmas tunes to add to the sheet music album Christmas Jazz Vol 1 from back in 2018. These were perfect for players to perform in their own homes to the backing tracks that we put together. The upside of this was that we really enjoyed playing them too so recorded a set of demo tracks to publicise the tracks. People have like them so much that we have put 10 of our favourite saxophone versions together as an album, Christmas Jazz Volumes 1 & 2 and hoped that some of our friends would consider purchasing a copy to help us out this Christmas.
There are 10 tracks on the album, all festive arrangements of favourite Christmas carols including smoochy ballads (Silent Night, The First Nowell, Away in a Manger and The Holly and the Ivy) but also tunes with a bit more of a jazzy groove (such as God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen, I Saw Three Ships, O Holy Night and Hark the Herald Angels). Each piece has the tunes that we all know and love along with some complimentary new material, hidden themes of other carols, or a new twist on an old tune (such as the Piazzolla tango inspired Deck the Halls!).

The tracks are available to listen to, for free, on Spotify and YouTube, but do remember that we only get around a tenth of a penny a play for this! The album is also available to buy digitally via iTunes, Amazon MP3 and all major music platforms. But the best and most direct way you can help us is to buy the CD version.
We’ve only printed 50 of the CDs, so it’s a very limited edition, and there are just 40 copies left. Grab a one off bargain, perfect for background music over Christmas, to sit and relax to, or to give as a present to someone. THIS IS NOW SOLD OUT!!!! SORRY!
