Kensa ha Dewetha (Bb Clarinet)

Kensa ha Dewetha is a beautiful short concert piece for intermediate to advanced Bb Clarinet and Piano. Kensa ha Dewetha means ‘First and Last’ in Cornish and is inspired by the rugged landscape of the composer’s West Cornwall roots.

Both full score and clarinet parts are included in the download. The piece is also available in an Alto Saxophone & Piano edition.

There is also a video of the piece accompanying the fantastic drone footage of Phil Hevican featuring areas of West Cornwall. Many thanks to Phil for the use of his footage. You can find more out about Phil HERE.

The piece is available to buy from the following sites:

  • As a clarinet player this is a really atmospheric piece and uses the whole range of the instrument well.

I feel that one of my students would enjoy this.
