The Lord’s Prayer (SATB or SAB Choir)

Out this September is a new English setting of The Lord’s Prayer. It was commissioned by Amber Valley Voices in memory of Kathleen M Cooper. The piece is for intermediate choirs and is in two versions, an accessible SAB (Soprano, Alto, Baritone) version and a slightly more demanding SATB version with closer harmony.

Both versions are for a cappella choir and run to around 2 minutes in duration, suitable for church or concert use. There is great scope with this piece for shaping and blending by the director to create a moving and powerful performance.
